The first 20 years of my life were spent in East Kilbride, Scotland and since that time I have been here in York, England. One of my main passions in life is music and I love going to gigs and festivals, some of which are documented on these pages. Over the past few years in particular I have developed a strange fascination with all things pertaining to urban decay, desolation and isolation and strive, somehow, to capture both moments and places in time before they disappear forever. I blame my obsession with the music of Joy Division for this, though I am not so sure that would fully explain my cataloguing of former Woolworths' stores.
