I have been a professional freelance photographer for over 40 years working on location, in the studio, in the darkroom (both traditional and Adobe Photoshop). I've also been teaching Digital, B/W and Advanced Photography part time at Macomb Community College since 2010. I started out as staff photographer for the Dearborn Times-Herald Newspaper in 1979.

I started showing my work in 1981, when I was included in the Detroit Photo Gallery "Inaugural Exhibit" in May of that year.

I moved to New York City in 1982 and spent 11 years there working as a catalog photographer, photo assistant, running my own business photographing commercial and residential real estate for appraisals and advertising, and continued showing my art photography in exhibitions and juried shows.

After moving back to Detroit in 1993, I have freelanced for many area newspapers, small businesses, and continue to work in the real estate industry. My art photography has also appeared in many art shows and exhibitions in the metro area. I am a member of the Detroit Artists Market.
