I'm a passionate and avid amateur astronomer and astrophotographer living in the light-polluted skies of Long Island, New York, not far from the bright lights of NYC. A classically trained chef in the culinary arts with a degree from the Culinary Institute of America. Currently working in healthcare in the field of food & nutrition for NYU Langone Health. Lifetime active member of the Amateur Observers' Society of New York (AOSNY) serving on its Executive Board. Current member of the Astronomical League, NASA's Night Sky Network and Custer Institute as current Director of the Sue Rose Observatory. I volunteer in public outreach with Hofstra University and through a grant with NASA I have enjoyed sharing with others that same fascination and wonder for the night sky. I can often be found on most clear nights under the night skies of Long Island, NY.
