I'm just creating worlds here...

Note: I'm not a huge fan of AI generated images of attractive young women, clothed or otherwise, if that's the main point of the artwork. It seems lazy & juvenile, not to mention sexist. If you do this kind of work, & I don't "like" your images, this may be the reason why. If there is a greater context & it's less about the scantily clad woman, I would find that more interesting. OK, that's just a minor rant.

AWARDS...I don't give them out, so please feel free not to award them to me. Just not my thing. Thanks. Also: please don't invite me to groups that require giving awards for every image posted, or similar. I don't want to make a big deal about this, but I'm not fond of the awards (as you can perhaps guess).

I'm a British-born artist living in Rhinebeck, in New York's Hudson Valley. My work deals with social issues, the human condition, myth, & imagination. Recently, I've been working with augmented reality (AR) -- there is a large-scale AR installation hidden in NYC's Union Square. I'm currently Artist-in-Residence/Meteor Studio at Arizona State University, and am now experimenting with AI.

Re: AI...I was at first skeptical, but after using Leonardo.Ai for a while, I realized that here was an incredibly powerful creative toolbox, albeit unpredictable. My AI pieces are a sort of collaboration with AI, which I find to be a very talented but unreliable creative partner. I find I have to lean into its strengths and limitations, which complement mine, to create works which in some cases would take me months or years to complete, but now can be made in a matter of minutes or hours.
