When we look at the world with open eyes, we encounter countless impressions –
sometimes loud, sometimes quiet.
I am drawn to the quiet.
To the things that don’t shout.
In my photographs, I search for the silent beauty in what is often overlooked:
in the turning of the seasons,
in the structure of a single blossom,
in the mist of a forest,
in the shape of a city façade touched by morning light.
I’m not interested in the image alone –
but in the sensation that occurs in the moment of seeing.
