Master Bikram is one of the most eminent Piano Players today. Bikram`Piano playing reflects the subtly, estheticism and nostalgic spirituality of his own style & gharana while combining it with resonant power and intensity to captivate the listener with the beauty and originality of his Piano Playing....

 

A boy from Kolkata...Bikram Mitra born -15th october 1993 ..started his music carreer from the age of seven..he began to play his synthesizer under the great western classical teacher sir Dipankar Misra...under him he completed his master degree in music from Pracheen Kala Kendra , Chandigarh...

He has been playing from a very early age and been influenced by his family too..he plays for his school and for his band too..

Now he is a student of the Indradhanu school of music under the great harmonium expert Pandit Jyoti Goho.

 

From a tender age he was interested in music...He was in a group called "Anjali Orchestra" he served there as a vocalist for two years...

then his interest took in instruments.....He was also offered the "Saradiya Sanman Puroshkar" at the last year of his group....

He started learning synth......and performed with bands like "hellstones", "touchwood"....."crossghats", etc.....at places like...

science city auditorium...., madhusudan mancha.....sujata sadan..etc.

 

His first instrumental programme was held in his school...where his debut was with a Rabindra Sangeet....

 

But interest took him into....Indian Classical Music..(Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet)......he finished his master degree(M.A) in music and was also declared as a "Sangeet Bhusan".....by the government of Chandigarh..

from his university Pracheen Kala Kendra , Chandigarh.....

 

Now he is under the world famous ...harmonium exponent, maestro Pandit Jyoti Goho....and he is a sound and improving student of the "INDRADHANU "school of music......

 

At this tender age of 17, he still thinks and considers himself...to be a learner..of music......his nature and his respect reverance towards music.....is unconditional...and pure...he wants to serve the whole world the sound of his piano......that to explain... WHAT IS MUSIC???
