Hi. Thanks for checking out my pictures.

I'm originally from London, England, but have lived in Canada since 2001, and have settled down in North Vancouver, having gained a lovely wife and two children since I arrived. I work as a software architect, so perhaps unsurprisingly I am a bit of a geek and I'm interested in technology.

The name biketrouble came about because I once had a reputation amongst my riding buddies for having pretty bad luck with bikes. I would break things that no-one breaks, had a bike stolen, broke the new bike on the first ride. I even had some problems with speedbumps. So I thought I would have plenty more amusing stories about how things had gone wrong with my bike. Fortunately my luck has improved since.

I used to mountain bike quite a bit but in recent years have become more focused on cycling as transportation, cargo & electric bikes - which a bit of road biking on the side. I still get up on the trails occasionally though.
