Mike is one of the good guys. A good photographer, who is clearly enjoying both his subjects, and enjoying developing his skills behind the camera. Now that he's being seduced with learning off-camera flash, I'm looking forward to watching him pull off even more beautiful images. He organizes the IndyFlickr walks each month, which are a great way to hang out with other people who like shooting whatever looks interesting. Self-deprecating humor, a beautiful family, he's the kind of guy I could have a beer with (as long as it's not Guinness, he's afraid of the dark). I suspect he's also a good guy to have around if your pants ever catch on fire. :)
