I am a full time teacher's assistant with the New York City Department of Education and freelance photographer. I do paid jobs such as weddings, sweet 16s, parties, church events, portraiture but for a hobby and one day as a profession, I would like to work for sports and surfing magazines. I presently love photographing surfers riding the big waves in New York and New Jersey. I love being out there in the fresh air admiring what the surfers do and I show my appreciation by capturing these men and women surfing the waves. I am not a person who likes to photograph scenery because I consider that boring but my passion is photographing people because I love being around people. I am open to helpful criticism and compliments about my photos and all flickr members/photographers will have the opportunity to do these things once I upload some of my pictures. I shoot both in film and digital format. Why not shoot film when it's not broken? Why not shoot digital when it's the easiest format to upload to the computer and Internet. I have the best of both worlds in film and digital so I am going to use both of these formats to the best of my abilities.
