Carol has been one of my very first contacts on Flickr...and I`m happy to say that our friendship, albeit virtual, has been growing in intensity and closeness with time. She`s a wonderful friend and a wonderful photographer...and her example has been precious to me, both as a photographer and as a human being, because she has the amazing gift of being able to communicate and relate to nature, an experience I have seldom had and never acquired. But the most fascinating thing about her is that, although she`s a very creative and imaginative artist...she doesn`t know it!!! I do believe that this kind of intellectual and artistic humbleness is the ultimate proof of an artist`s accomplishment.

I love the simplicity and un-pretentious quality of your photography..It's clear we have alot of the same memories, or you're discovering things I had in my past..because your pictures take me back to good things and happy times in my grandparents' home. Life with them was safe, secure, warm and comfy and I love seeing your windows to that happy past. You have truly ministered to me today and I'm sure many others in the past as well.
