Aloha!
I am a longtime LEGO fan from Hawaii, a former LEGO Ambassador, and a current RLUG Ambassador representing LEAHI - LEGO Enthusiasts Association of Hawaii. :^)
I relocated my LEGO creations from Brickshelf.com, where my gallery was under the name "Y-Bros-K"... hence, the names of my photos often contains a description of the image. Also, my "Sets" each contain a description of the creation, so be sure to read those, or you may not understand what it's all about.
My Flickr gallery will serve as home for my images until further notice.
DO NOT STEAL MY IMAGES!!! I am known to tear off the heads of thieves, smoke them in one of my smokers, and eat them with my own homemade BBQ and Hot sauces. If you want to use one of my photos, please send me a Flickr mail with your request. Thank you.
My building philosophy is that simple is better, and you are only limited by your own imagination.

In a LEGO world of castles and spaceships "Big Daddy" Nelson does his own thing. Whether he tells a good story in small vignettes, builds realistic sculptures of everyday objects or produces an entire line of...um...cheese creatures...Big Daddy has been a mentor and influence ever since the bad old days of Brickshelf. Plus he's laid back, cool...and just a little bit badass. What's not to like?
Read lessYou will never see a more precise placement of bricks in a MOC than you will see from Nelson. I was a super lucky 13 year-old when I got join the Hawaii LUG and learn from Nelson how to really put on a LUG showcase. He's a true professional and most awesome builder. I miss being a part of his group.
Nelson has always been a great inspiration to me, both as a builder and as a member of the LEGO Community. His builds are original and brilliant, and his community spirit has earned him a place as a mover and shaker in the world of the LEGO fan.
If there's something Nelson can't build from LEGO bricks, it probably just hasn't been imagined by anybody yet. Nelson is one of the most original builders putting little plastic bricks together today.
