Hi, I am a keen amateur photographer living in Northamptonshire in the UK. I have been taking pictures since I was about 10 working my way through school magazines, sports, motorsports and holiday memories. Since retiring, I have specialised in wildlife (inspired by Tom Mangelsen) and landscapes (inspired by Ansel Adams). I try not to use Affinity (my preference to Photoshop/LR) too much to change the basic nature of the photos - just a bit of tweaking on exposure, contrast, cropping etc and the occasional sharpening if an otherwise really good image is not quite in focus as well as it could be. I am a Canon user and currently carry a R6 Mk 2 with mostly an RF 100-500, with the option of a 1.4x, which I find a perfect combination for the wildlife I primarily shoot. My second lens is a Canon RF70-200. For Macro I use a Canon 100 2.8L. I also use a second R6 Mk 2 as a back up and have a 24-105 for general shooting and landscapes. I hope people will like my work.
