"If it has wheels, I'm going to photograph it".
TeeMack, aka Tim McCullough, had a long admiration for all kinds of travel. Tim, a Vietnam Vet, had more photos he wanted to take, but he passed from complications from cancer treatment for Agent Orange-related cancer. He passed away 4-11-2020. Tim's sister, Esther Klay, keeps his memory alive by sharing his photos!
Tim's Story:
My fascination started when I was in Junior High School, when I would collect all the new car brochures from the local car dealers. I would paste them into my scrap book.
My fascination continued during my two tours of duty in Vietnam. During my time in the Army I got to drive Army Jeeps, Army 3/4 Trucks, and the Army Deuce and a Half Truck. After my Army Service, I drove for Trailways Bus Company for almost 10 years. During that time, I got to go places I never dreamed of going to. During my 10 years with Trailways and other interstate bus companies, I got to drive Eagle, MCI , Provost and GMC Buses. I've also driven School Buses and City Transit Buses.
During one short period in my life, I also got to drive a police car, fire truck and ambulance. I also drove a limo!
Later in life, I got my class A CDL. I have driven Volvo's, Kenworths, and Freightliner Semi Trucks.
About the same time I started my scrap book, I got interested in photography. I took over 1000 photos during my two tours of duty in Vietnam and they are posted on Flickr.
I've had numerous 35mm cameras and several digital cameras. I presently use a Nikon D5100 and my backup camera is a Pentax K200D. Because of digital technology, I have become very good at automotive photo/artwork. My photo/artwork is posted on Fine Art America.
I attended approximately 35 car/truck shows in the Kansas City area. I was also one of the official photographers of the annual "Art of the Car Concours" show in Kansas City, Missouri.
