Usually lured by classic railway traction on the British main line, many of these images will be 'standard' three-quarter portraits. Naturally, being a magnet to typical British weather, these images are often taken in challenging conditions, a challenge I enjoy. There will be occasional attempts at a more 'exotic' approach to ideas and compositions; usually failing miserably!

There are also images from my youth (1984-88) and a few aviation pics (1988 onwards). In moments of severe weakness, I have even sporadically pointed the camera at subjects other than trains and planes!
