Introduction
Hello, and welcome to my profile page! I suppose I'd better write something about myself, let's see...
My new years resolution for 2006 was to do something that I enjoyed! Photography I thought! I enjoy photography! So I did a bit of research, and luckily found flickr!
Since then, photography seems to have become more of an obsession than a hobby, and the flickr community has been a big part of that obsession!
I think, like so many others, I'm now addicted to flickr! If I'm not uploading and commenting - I'm lurking!
Anyway, I digress, what I really want to say is that the flickr folk have provided a fantastic community for like minded people to interact in "interesting" ways! Kudos to them!

It is worth it, I promise. He is always a very dear presence on my stream… Read more

It is worth it, I promise. He is always a very dear presence on my stream, as well. His comments are always kind and encouraging and really funny, sometimes. A "FlickrDay" is not the same without him, actually. Thank you, Ian...for all these months of priceless friendship. Hugs, Petra

Visiting Ian's photostream recently, a common occurence for me on Flickr, I was surprised to see no testimonials written for him. His work is both inspirational, and awe inspiring. I owe a fair amount of my ideas to three or four photographers on Flickr, Ian is among them. His macro work is among the best on Flickr. No… Read more
