I have taken photographs for a long time, almost all my life. I started as a young kid with my fathers camera and ever since photography has been a part of my life. I also have been using Photoshop for over ten years now (started with version 3). In this stream I'll combine these two interests of mine. For me this is a process for learning.

What you'll see here

I've decided to keep things consistent here and build a body of work according these guidelines, at least for the time being:

All images will be in square format. I really like the different ways it can be composed and the retro feel it brings to the image.

 

All images will be processed in some way, with textures, blending modes, action, etc. Lately I have been interested in photo manipulations and that seems to be something that the audience here is also interested in (based on commenting).

 

Image titles are in finnish. Why you may ask. Well, I like to give them names but in a way that most of you will not understand the meaning. It is more important how the titles sound. Try Google Translator if you want to know what they mean...

 

I love music (some 11 000 songs on my iPod) so every once in while I will link to music that I think suits an image and gives it a kind of "soundtrack".
