He is a wonderful photographer and was able to understand the needs of travelling photographers and take us to the right places at the right time for the light. His depth of knowledge of the history of his country, the stories of the monasteries and Dzongs, and their culture is fantastic. The attention to detail he provides is wonderful and he is always organising the next stage to meet our needs. I have been on many tours and trips and Sonam rates as the best guide we've ever had.
