I am a freelance illustrator and crafter that doodles to escape real life responsibilities. I have a 'grown-up' 9 to 5 job that pays for cake and nail polish, but illustration has always been my 'thing'.

In 2010, I left my home country, where I worked as a news editor (hence the name), and started a new inglorious life in the UK. I tell people that the real reason for coming here was my love for the Beatles, but in reality we all know it was actually the British cuisine.

I started this blog in 2010 (under a different name) because I had too much time on my hands. I used to blog about beauty, but my interest have moved towards something I've always loved: contemporary art and crafts.
