I have been an amateur photographer for about 12 years. I picked up my first camera as something to do while traveling alot for my job. I started with negative film, progressed to slide film and even did some developing of black and white.

I didn't do much picture taking for about 5 years, but when I bought my first digital SLR a few years ago I got excited about the hobby again. I like taking pictures of anything that interests me (if there is a group of photographers, I am the one off taking pictures of cracks in the sidewalk while everyone else is taking pictures of the parade)...whether it interests others or not is hit or miss...but hey, its MY hobby:) I hope you enjoy my view of things and comments are always welcome!
