The Eternal Student (TM). I read books and write for fun, and read books and write for work. I get itchy fingers without a pen (or other writing implement) and itchy feet without somewhere to go.

I dislike cauliflower, weak tea, vodka (most of the time), American chocolate, baked beans, rude children, rude adults and thorns on plants.

I like books, trees, flowers (in vases and in the ground), tidy shops, pictures hung straight on walls, waking up an hour early and being able to go back to sleep, my computer, taking a turn about the room, big avenues of trees to promenade down, shady hats, The Forum, Durham cathedral, Eilean Donan, Polesden Lacey, York Minster, la Piazza san Marco and the BBC. I also love my beautiful and adored Nikon D40.
