I live and work in Dover, Kent and have always been drawn to things from the past, in particular antique books, furniture and buildings. I love Victorian & Georgian architecture and hate it that the town I live was so devestated in the war, that so little of it remains. What was left has been neglected and left to rot. A huge area in particular the Pier district was demolished as part of slum clearance in the 1960's and the rest has mostly been demolished under the guise of (non existant) re-development making for a rather sad little town.

There are however a few gems (if you look up!) and one day I intend to take the camera out and record the less obvious things before they too are destroyed.
