Bev is a wonderful artist and flickr friend. If I take a look at her artwork, I'm in awe of the beauties I can find there. Her negative painting works are outstanding and I'm sure her work will be appreciated by many people, also in the future. I am also thankful for her describing different techniques and showing the development of certain works. Bev is also willing to give any help if needed and she always has positive and encouraging comments on other people's work (like mine :-)), thanks a lot, Bev! I also appreciate her texts accompaning the artwork, where she someties shares her own hesitation in creating artwork what keeps me thinking to be in good company when I am doubting my own painting. However, even when she's not sure about her results, they always are on such a high level that you can always consider it as fabulous artwork!!! I'm looking forward to every single one to come!

Bev's art displays all the attributes I would aspire to if only I had half her talent, and 10% of her ingenuity and patience. I simply adore her subtle landscapes and her flower paintings, bursting with color. She has done some of the most beautiful flower paintings I have seen on flickr and she never ceases to surprise with new techniques. I have known Bev for about 12 months now. I first bumped into her when I saw a beautiful painting while browsing through Flickr. I have never missed one of her paintings since that time. She is a wonderful artist in every way and certainly the best practitioner of negative painting I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She is a very creative artist that is always willing to try new mediums and new methods. Although she keeps busy with her art she is a very warm and caring person who always has time to listen to your problems.
