Thank you for visiting my Flickr photostream.

I've been fascinated by photography from an early age as I used to watch my uncle take and develop his own black and white photos. I bought my first camera in my teens, and when I was in my early twenties I moved away from my home town of Liverpool, England.

I've recently returned to Liverpool to live again after living in Sussex and Devon, and I also spent a year in Arizona.

I love animals, cats in particular, and work as a volunteer at Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre based in Ince Blundell, Liverpool. Freshfields animal rescue is a non profit making charity caring for abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. They act as a temporary refuge and sanctuary for an endless cycle of animals in need of help.

I am trying to help by featuring cats on my photostream, particularly those who have been there for some time. Even if one person in the Liverpool area adopts a cat it will be worth it! More information can be found at www.freshfieldsrescue.org.uk/home
