I've been playing with cameras for as long as I can remember and first fell in love with photography many, many years ago when my dad taught me how to shoot B&W with his Leica Model IIIc rangefinder camera.

I now own that old Leica, and I really do need to get out and use it more. But mostly, I shoot with my Nikon Z6iii, Nikon D780, Sony RX100vii, and my iPhone 17 Pro (when I don't happen to have one of the other three cameras handy). I also recently bought and am learning to use my first drone, and I have no doubt I’ll be posting photos taken with the drone this year.

I especially enjoy nature and travel photography, but even after all these years, I’m always learning and have found participating in Flickr groups to be particularly enjoyable. Each year, I try to complete at least a few Flickr group challenges and am always amazed and inspired by the work by others. After taking a few years off from a 365 project, I’m giving it a go again with “365: The 2026 Edition.” Also planning to do 2026 versions with three groups I've done previously (some successfully and some not so much!) for a number of years: "126 Pictures in 2026", "100x: The 2026 Edition", and "52 Weeks: The 2065 Edition". Hope I’m not over-extending myself, so we’ll see how it goes!
