A few years ago, I created a couple of organizations in Second Life called Not Possible IRL (NPIRL) and Impossible IRL, dedicated to identifying and sharing well conceived and realized content creation in Virtual Worlds which would not be possible in Real Life: architecture, landscaping, art, animations, fashion, particle effects, building tools and scripts...

And I blogged about what we found:

* My blog: npirl.blogspot.com - A central goal for us is to collect and distill what's really happening out there and pare down your options to the essence of what's cool, trendsetting and even groundbreaking, always within the context of Not Possible IRL.

Nowadays, I like to tweet:

* Twitter: twitter.com/bettinatizzy

My Second Life home is Chakryn Forest.

To that end, I have a few groups here:

**Not Possible IRL: Unmoderated, uncensored. You rule, you rock!

**Not Possible IRL content - BY INVITATION ONLY: www.flickr.com/groups/npirl/

**Avatars Not Possible in Real Life : BY INVITATION ONLY:

**NPIRL Fashion - BY INVITATION ONLY

**Situations Not Possible in Real Life (NPIRL):

There is also a group for my own forest and home, built by the hobbit, Andrek Lowell, Chakryn Forest:

And the Virtual Nature group:

I am: not as serious as all this sounds.

I have been meaning to write a testimonial for Bett for the longest time now - so, finally, here it is: Bett is, of course, the one person who put Syncretia on the map. Through her blog and the NPIRL group, which as far as I am concerned is the one group in SL that is truly worth its weight in gold, Syncretia has gotten the visitors and the acknowledgement, for both of which I am really deeply grateful to her. Bett and I do not hang out in Second Life as much as we should. Not only the difference in time zones but also busy second lives on both ends tend to keep us apart more often than not. But whenever we do get together I thoroughly enjoy her kindness, her knowledge, her generosity and her good humor. The bottomline is that I trust Bett. I get this really wonderful feeling of comfort and companionship the minute I see that she is online... I don't even have to talk to her (although I really do enjoy myself when we have a girlie heart to heart - hhh), just knowing that she is out there seems to do the trick! That is really all there is to it, I guess...
