I absolutely love taking photographs of just about anything. I love looking at things in new ways, getting close, seeing, and capturing the strange details that we so often miss in our day-to-day lives.

I am especially fond of taking macro photos and very shallow depth-of-field photos. My favorite lens is my canon 100mm macro lens, but lately I have been trying to break free from my love of this lens and use my other lenses more.

That is why I joined flickr. I wanted to be inspired and learn from such a wonderful community of like-minded folks.
