I'm not even an amateur photographer, but I do love taking pictures. It's become quite the passion of mine and I do hope to be able to do something with it at some point.

I think a large part of me has an "old school" mentality. I do not believe in the editing of my own photos save for some sharpening (as I shoot in RAW, which inherently needs to be sharpened). I do not use Photoshop, I will not "retouch" pictures. What you see is what you get.

For me, I believe that if I do not get the image I originally wanted or would be the most pleasing, then I just didn't get it. I do not want to edit a photo into something it wasn't. There is a beauty in the imperfect and I hope that, at some point, I can really define that with my photography. What I mean to say is, my skill and the use of the camera are what i'm working with...not an extraneous piece of software to make my images look more grandiose than they should.

I believe in simplicity. I believe in making the best out of what i've got. To me, what i've got is an aspiration, an inquisitive mind and a vessel to produce images that will show something (I hope is interesting) through my eyes.

I am always looking to grow and thusly, any constructive criticism is always welcome, just keep in mind telling me to "edit" my photo will never happen and i'll probably just throw that comment away. :)
