Bertram Cross grew up in New York State and now resides in Oceanside, California. He is a graduate of Kent State University, where he earned a BA degree in architecture.

Mr. Cross's background as an architect, has aided him in a technical style of extreme realism not often associated with the watercolor medium. It is this style that has become his trademark. His work has been included in numerous exhibits and is in private and corporate collections.
