I am an artist and counsellor, although I've also been vegetable grower, baker, recycler, student of politics and stove builder before (+ a few more). I like diversity and contrast, which shows in my paintings (see www.zhibit.org/bert-bruins) and in my career path.

My photographs stem from avid collecting of images to aid in my painting, as well from my love of nature and all things quirky.
