My name is Bernhard Friess and I'm a German photographer who lives in the area between Mannheim/Heidelberg and Karlsruhe in Germany.

I like to go out into the nature and taking landscape photographs as well as close ups of single flowers, blossoms, insects, bugs or similar.

On Aug 13, 2014 I made the following decision:

I released all my photos published in 2014 under a Creative Commons License. Additionally I plan to publish every new photo on this account under a free CC license.

So if you want to use one or the other of the photos, feel free to do so as long as You comply with the license.

Mostly I shoot with old manual lenses with Canon FD mount in front of a Sony Nex 5N camera.

Meanwhile I've upgraded from Sony Nex 5N over a used Sony ILCE-6000 to a used ILCE-6500 in late Calendar-Year 2024,
