I served as a Navy Photographer's Mate aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with one deployment in support of OEF / OIF & another deployment to Indonesia for post-tsunami humanitarian relief.
After the Navy, I served as an Army Tanker in Hohenfels, Germany, with a one-year tour to Afghanistan as a radioman & Battle Non-Commissioned Officer.
I eventually changed my job in the Army & served as a Combat Correspondent, where I was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX for 2 years with the 16th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment with a one-year tour to Afghanistan as a TV reporter.
Later, I was stationed in Washington, DC, working as the photojournalist to Under Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon.
I was then assigned as a TV & radio reporter at American Forces Network Benelux in Mons, Belgium, where I subsequently became the Station Manager.
I then participated as an Active Duty Army broadcaster in the Military Visual Journalism program at Syracuse University's Newhouse School.
Then assigned to the 10th Mountain Division as the Public Affairs Operations NCO at Fort Drum, NY.
I retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class.
I’ve had many lives, but this one’s the most fun.
