The Berlin Music Ensemble was founded in spring 2011. It consists of musicians from Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatskapelle Berlin, Komischen Oper Berlin, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Berliner Philharmoniker, Rundfunk- Sinfonieorchester Berlin as well as freelance musicians including members of the Kairos Quartet.

The Ensemble specializes in CD recordings and soundtracks for television and movie productions. In addition, the Ensemble performs for small and large events.
