For the last 5+ years Ben has been leading worship, writing songs, and ministering in a variety of fields, formats and functions. He’s been strumming a guitar or plunking at a piano now for around 10 years. Since a young age he’s desired to humbly proclaim the glory of Jesus Christ to any listening ear, near or far, domestic or abroad, old or young.

A basic premise of his life is that wherever God places him he will be there fully and wholly. Which has inevitably led to playing music in just about every setting imaginable: expansive crowds, loud concerts, small youth group lock-ins, massive Jr. High events, father-son camps, family camps, nursing homes, children’s ministries, missions conferences, coffee shops, back porches, the base of Kilimanjaro, a college in Kazakhstan, a field in Romania, orphanages, churches, camps, living rooms, and a missionary school.

He is heavily intrigued by the integration of the richness of hymns, the writings of classic Christian authors, and the sincere sing-ability of ageless Americana folk music. His voice is a clean tenor, with a slight rock tinge.

His lyrics are timeless, therefore they find their voice in every space and setting.

His melodies are instant, therefore they endear themselves immediately.

His message is pure and sincere, therefore it permeates the frame-work of any heart.

As Ben says in his own words, “I am recklessly pursuing the high calling of being like Jesus. This is my truest joy, and highest passion. To be lost in Him is my souls desire! Jesus is really all I care about: His glory, His gospel, His grace, His love, His power, His right to be glorified in every heart. He is central to the fabric of my life. Therefore, I unashamedly write songs about Him. My soul aches to know Him more fully, and make Him known.”

From the very first strum, Ben invites you into a worship experience focused on the depths and riches of knowing and treasuring Jesus. Ben’s music is a rare fusion of old and new, folksy and rock, trendy and traditional, Americana and Ethnic, lyrical and melodical. It’s something Bigger than music.
