What can I say? I'm predominantly a hobbyist photographer, but have doing more paid jobs to cover the expenses!

My favourite subject is the outdoors: particularly intense sports such as mountain biking and rock climbing. I like the human challenge aspect, trying to capture athletes focused and in the moment.

Other favourites are landscapes and candid portraiture. My preferred style is to capture people naturally, operating at a distance so they aren't aware of/acting for the camera. I'm also doing more candid events/weddings/gigs/music festival type work as well.

Generally I'll pack my kit wherever I go, and see what I can shoot. Yes, I tend to operate more spontaneously, so I usually end up with completely unexpected shots.
