I have a few comments about Flickr postings. IMO the most important element of an image is impact. Does it grab me right away.

I always ask myself if I would hang it on my wall.

I enjoy looking at images that are "different." There are many beautiful images on Flickr but the sameness is numbing. Conversely there are many images that are fabulously done and something makes them totally unique.

If I comment on an image I hope I'm always positive and constructive at the same time. I never use the word "NICE." It is absolutely meaningless. And I will never post formula comments that have been prepared by the group I post to. That doesn't help anybody get better.

It has been a pleasure posting on Flickr and a joy having a great bunch of Flickr friends.
