I am a photographer from Libya, and I began my journey with the camera in 2006. Since then, I have been chasing moments that carry a story or an emotion. I photograph nature, the desert, equestrian events, cultural activities, and urban art, always aiming to deliver an image that speaks without words.

When I published my first picture of Libya was the first to comment on Ben and then I discovered one of the most talented photographers who's on Flickr: Well, in addition to "knowing how to photograph" can penetrate the image and bring out what's inside them and that a simple look can not perceive. Ben continues to amaze me with his journey to his wonderful land: Libya, and so through his images can I continue a journey that I never wanted to end.

I visited Libya and shot plenty of pictures ...none of them compares to BenTaher's shots! One of the best photostreams I've ever seen on Flickr: great images and beautiful processing. Pure art from a pure photographer!
