I am and have always been a storyteller. Even when I was very young my artwork always had a story behind it which begged to be told. It was then that a driving force behind my work became simply understanding how to make my work to speak for itself and inspire new perspectives. Andover is where I call home, a cozy, forgettable town in Connecticut whose woods I’ve come to know well. It is one of the few places I’ve found myself able to get as gleefully lost in the physical world as I do in my work. I moved to Boston and then California to further my education and pursue new mediums and perspectives of my own through animation, illustration and design. Since returning home, I can barely recognize the face in the mirror, or the work on my canvas. The constant state of change is often frightening but at the same time exhilarating, and only pushes me to discover what will come next for me.
