Situated in the south of Norway, in a small town called Mandal — manic seasonal changes creates urges to both generate and express the moods of what lies in the psychic aftermath of gloomy, desolate winters, and in the uplifting anticipations of what a late summer resurgence bestows to its inhabitants.

To render and create has become very important, both through music and visual arts. One day, you have to travel across the world to hunt down the inspiration you sorely crave for — the very next day, it appears on a worn-out wooden wall in the woods, or in the disturbed shadows of a flashing streetlight, just down the road.

Nostalgia, melancholy, lucidity, psychology, obscurities and the dreams we make under our eyelids every night, are themes and expressions for what I possess a great fondness, keeping my eyes open for scenarios occurring in a mind-wandering state, or for the sudden secrets revealing themselves in faces, places and objects desperately in need of a thankful viewer.
