My dad gave me my first camera (a Albinar) and got me involved with photography when I was 14 years old. I instantly fell in love with photography. I loved taking action pictures, mainly auto racing and skateboarding. I bought my first real camera in 1990 (a Minolta X-370). I started getting involved alot more with skateboarding photos and then my friends moved away and I put the camera up. In 1998, I met my wife to be Tracy. We and her mother took a trip to Montana for an event called "Indian Days" in Browning, MT. When I took that trip, I decided to take my camera out and started taking pictures again. It was wonderful taking photographs again. In 1999, we moved to Montana for 5 years. During that time I started falling in love with photography all over again. Then my camera breaks and put the camera up again because their wasn't a shop to fix it for miles. So I stopped again. We moved back to California in 2004 and during the unpacking, I found my camera. I took it to a shop and had it fixed. Now that I had my camera fixed, I could start taking pictures again. Then one day I was lucky to use my sister-in-laws Canon Digital Rebel. I fell in love with the camera. So for my birthday, I asked for a new camera. I received a Canon Digital Rebel XT. From then on, I have fallen in love with photography all over again. And I still use my Minolta to this very day with my Canon. For this I owe this all to my dad, to whom got me involved with photography. Now, photography is my hobby of choice and some day be able to make it my profession as a professional photographer.
