“Benedetta Falugi is an independent photographer based in Tuscany, Italy. She initially approached photography in a rather casual way, once a passion was realised she continued to study photography through various workshops and as an autodidact. Corresponding with her independent studies Benedetta began a personal project attempting to research ‘places of the heart and people living there’. Her work (made in analogue), has been published in several Photographic Magazines and Books.

Awards winner photographer, her photos have been part of various personal and collective Exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad.

From November 2014 til 2017 she has been member of Street Photography Collective, InQuadra. Currently is a member of the global Community of Street Photography “Women in Street”.

In December 2017 the Art Gallery “Disastro” released ‘Istinto’, her limited edition monographic photo-book.

She now attend several photo festival as a guest speaker, part of the jury and portfolio reader.

“Benedetta Falugi è una fotografa indipendente che vive in Toscana. Il suo approccio con la fotografia avviene quasi casualmente ma l’incontro è molto coinvolgente tanto da affinare velocemente un proprio linguaggio e un proprio stile riconoscibile.

Benedetta ha studiato fotografia attraverso vari workshops e come autodidatta, contemporaneamente ha cominciato una sua personale ricerca che si rivolge soprattutto ‘ai posti che ama e alle persone che vi abitano’.”. Il suo lavoro (realizzato in analogico), è stato pubblicato su diverse riviste e libri fotografici.

Fotografa vincitrice di premi, le sue foto hanno fatto parte di diverse Mostre personali e collettive, sia in Italia che all’estero.

Da novembre 2014 al 2017 è stata membro del Collettivo Street Photography, InQuadra. Attualmente è membro della comunità globale di Street Photography “Women in Street”.

Nel dicembre 2017 la Galleria d’arte “Disastro” ha pubblicato “Istinto”, il suo libro fotografico monografico in edizione limitata.

Ora partecipa a diversi festival fotografici come relatrice ospite, parte della giuria e lettrice di portfolio.
