Alain is an inspiration to me and thousands of other photographers here on flickr. He does things with his camera that I frankly am not capable of. It doesn't matter what he is shooting, landscapes, urban scenes, wildlife, it's all top-notch stuff. I learn from him everyday and he is ALWAYS gracious enough to answer all my questions about how he shot a particular image. Alain is also a good friend to me, he encourages me as I take this photographic journey, giving me meaningful comments and in turn he has made me a better photographer.
