I am Swedish, Norwegian, & Japanese.........I am a grateful optimist and an enthusiastic artistic crafter/designer. As far back as I can remember...when I was just a little girl, I was decorating my dollhouses and collecting special objects of beauty that had caught my eye.

My dream is to travel the world to see the beauty in every place...I adore animals, nature, flowers, fairies, miniatures, interior decorating and well, decorating and embellishing anything I can get my hands on!!

My daughter April and I were a team of event decorators (mostly weddings) which we started in Japan (my mother's homeland) then continued in Florida. I truly loved every event I ever decorated!! I've always had a knack for interior design and decorating which brings me great joy and I could say that I am “in my glory” during the production of an event like a wedding…because I love organizing event decorations, arrangements, seating placements, etc. Being an event decorator allowed me the privilege of working “behind the scenes”…all part of the big production...which suited my personality perfectly.

Planning an event satisfies me to no end and watching all my attention to detail come alive at the anticipated hour has been a marvelous thrill. (for example: lighting all the candles and watching the Bride-to-be come down the aisle, and then watching the Bride & Groom make their grand entrance to the reception.)

It’s truly been a privilege and the rewards definitely outweighed the hard work or I should I say, “labor of love”!!

I hope to share with others a little glimpse of the beauty I see in the world...and to share the joy and enthusiasm to CREATE...and oooooh, I absolutely love photography and my Nikon D5100 camera!! It helps to capture the beauty I see everywhere...;)
