Bella Etoile Designs is the creation of Erin M Reichert. Her fun, whimsical and classic surface pattern designs and illustrations are a direct extension of Erin’s love of pattern, color and art. She began her zeal for designing as a young child through her favorite toy, Fashion Plates, which introduced her to the joy of patterns. As an adult she continues to create on a daily basis sketching, doodling and trend shopping, allowing her creativity to continue to flow. Erin has earned two degrees from San Francisco State University: a B.A. in Clothing and Textiles and a B.A. in French. She is also a classically trained certified textile surface pattern designer from the California School of Professional Fabric Design in Berkeley, CA.

Erin has had the truest pleasure working in a variety of design industries. Many of the companies she has worked for include: Old Navy, Levi Strauss and CO., The North Face, American Pacific Enterprises Inc, and even an internship at the Asian Art Museum, working in the textile conservation lab.

To keep her mind fresh, Erin frequently indulges in a variety of hobbies which include: yoga, spinning classes, dancing, baking, kayaking, and spending quality time with friends at her favorite wine bar. She is a constant traveler whose second home is Cognac, France. Erin considers herself extremely lucky to have a mom who is a gifted quilter, whom she can spend an afternoon with shopping for fabrics.
