the following is an update: April 2014.

Thank you for your interest in reading a bit about my background:

1. I was a teen-age European import from Budapest, Hungary... currently located in Saskatoon, western Canada.

2. My first film camera dates back to my teens.... only got more involved with 35mm SLR in university as I became more aware of the built environment and landscape architecture... mainly focused on Europe & North America... always enjoyed travelling photography.

3. Have enjoyed exploring Canada's abundant untouched wilderness and natural beauty by canoe, kayak, bicycle, backpack and since 2012 on a motorcycle.

4. Since my teens I was drawn to the wonders of well designed architecture, urban design, parkscapes, cityscapes and streetscapes and works of art both public and private.

5. Interest in human behaviour led me towards people watching and street photography.

6. The great variety of visual interests explored by Flickr-ites here is truly amazing... getting a glimpse into other photographers' minds and lives is very rewarding and enriching and at times overwhelming ... pushing the boundaries of cenventional photography is exciting and inspiring!

7. Equipment wise I have used several DSLRs: Nikon D40x; D3100; D5500 as well as a Sony's RX100... love wide-angle to telephoto lenses and polarized filters.
