Simply put, Marcus's photographs feel like home; they're a home we've always known but maybe have just realized, a place where we may get lost inside and explore, and yet always feel soothed. There is a certain level of gentleness, of beauty that makes every shot invitingly familiar. His obviously keen eye focuses on subjects we all know, using light and depth of field to make the shot intriguing. His photographs consistently get pause out of me as I scroll, and for these reasons I'm thankful to have stumbled onto such a gem of an artist.
