Poaching (use with out permission) my photographs is verbotten, so DO NOT do it please. They are NOT royalty free images and may not be used for commercial or private use. Any such use of these images is strictly unappreciated! Specifically, these images may not be copied, manipulated, reproduced, pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My images are my own....To quote dissident photographer "Number 6" . Contact me regarding licensing.

If you add me as a contact or favorite a photo and have no self created images to view, I may block you...What are you up to? It's kind of creepy...

I prefer comments to foofy group badges or "golden glitterball" GIF animations. Too many groups use them...why? They don't really indicate anything other than a lack of thought or vocabulary. I guess they are convenient to use if you see a photo you like, but don't know how to express it. Then again if you see one of my images and are compelled to "Group Glitter Bomb" it...well who am I to tell you what to do. ;+)....It also occurred to me that English my not be your first language...However a comment in Klingon would be most welcome!

Not a fan of old school camera club mentalities. Flickr isn't like that because as evidence, if you have enough followers and photograph an out of focus, overexposed grain of rice on white , 50 people, will comment on what a "great capture" it is. The enigma, "I_still_believe_in_u" was marvellous at cultivating comments.

There are so many great photographers and "characters" on flickr. While not a rabid harvester of contacts , those I have are because I liked something about their photostream or have given me a thoughtful or useful comment on an image or offered dialogue or commentary beyond photography, that was somehow spawned by a photo...

Enough on my Flickr observations...

I go back to the film days when it was the only capture medium around, shooting both 35mm Minoltas and medium format (Mamiya RB67 and Mamiya 645 ) but started out with a Kodak X - 15 in my early teens.

What I learned in a chemical darkroom, I've transferred to the digital version. Processing pixels can be either a quick trip or an adventure. I attempt to make whatever subject I've photographed as interesting (to my vision at the time) as it can be. But then again I'll often revisit images and wonder, "what was I thinking!"

Thanks for having a look!

Bee's photographic talent is considerable, and his wit and intellect are sharp. He has become a valuable and respected member of my few contacts on Flickr. He also lives in one of my favorite countries. Overall I find Bee to be multitalented, though his many abilities seem to end before they reach the arena of testimonial writing. Still, we all have our faults and I would be the last to claim none.
