About me… well, I’m 28, I live with my daughter on the Surrey/North Hants border in the UK. I’ve always loved photography and tried to get into it when I was younger but it was an expensive hobby, with the cost of film and processing. Now with the advent of digital, film has become obsolete (to me anyway) and the expense of processing has become negligible, I rarely print my work, only family photos and some of my very best shots.

In June 2009 my dad gave me his Canon EOS 350D after upgrading. Since then I’ve caught photography fever, I will shoot anything and everything. I’ve yet to find my niche, but I will trying my hand at all types of photography and I’m sure I’ll soon find a particular love, at the moment I am swaying a little towards night photography especially around towns and cities. I’d really like to try taking more coastal landscapes, but haven’t quite found the right opportunity yet; finding, researching and shooting new locations can be difficult when you have a child to look after.
