I got my first 'proper' camera in July 2008, and since then I've experienced a massive learning curve (although I'm still getting to grips with everything my camera can do). My dad has taught me a lot, and joining Flickr has inspired me beyond belief. One of my favourite things to do is browse through some of the wonderful photos on here.

I completed the 365 challenge, in which I took a self-portrait every single day for 365 days, a couple of years ago. It really helped me to become more creative and understand the direction in which I want my photography to go. But as you may have noticed, I seriously let photography fall by the wayside since then. And I miss it. I miss the exploration, the adventure, the process of capturing moments for future reflection. So I'm dusting off my beloved camera using my less-than-impressive phone while I track down a new camera because mine no longer works (*sad face*), and starting to experiment again. I'm diving head first into a new 365 project, in which I'll take a photo (of anything!) every day.
