English, living in Chile.

Work from home. Flickr is one of the places I come to relax...

I prefer natural light...

And I think about food most of the time...

Only real downside to living abroad (apart from not being able to nip round to mum's for a coffee when I feel like it), is that my Yorkshire Puddings refuse to rise. They taste right but are stubbornly flat. I've tried everything. Different flours, recipes from all over, very hot oven, making sure butter well melted in the tins before adding the mix. I even invested in a special tin, from the UK, specially designed for said puddings.

But no joy. It remains a mystery. Maybe it's a southern hemisphere thing. Any helpful hints would be very welcome.

Please ask me first if you would like to use any of my photos. Thanks very much.
