Beat is a magazine dedicated to showcasing and feeding into the cultural life of Windsor and the surrounding region.

Beat provides a platform for the artists, writers, dancers, photographers, musicians and filmmakers living and working in the region, talks to their audience and promotes a broad spectrum cultural activity and debate.

We are enthused by sharp-eyed perspectives, brimming with personal insight and wit, whether that is the written word or imagery. We are interested in features that vary in format: interviews, reported pieces, and critical essays are welcome, as are roundups, cultural commentary and humour. We also include graphically driven formats like timelines and comics. Sound and moving things could make it happen for us too.
